FAQ Hotel Princess & Richmond

There is no restaurant in the hotel, however, it will be possible if you wish, to order hot or cold drinks at any time of the day. Moreover, you may get in the evening a mini-snack served in your room, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

The reception staff of the Princess and Richmond hotel will be able to advise you on the spot, for your nearby lunches or dinners and will indicate you our good addresses in town.

​Here are some ideas for visits near the hotel: the Jean Cocteau Museum, the Museum of Prehistory, the Palais Carnolès which hosts the largest collection of citrus fruits in Europe, the famous Fontana Rosa, Serre de la Madone and Val Rameh gardens. For gamblers, the Casino Barrière of Menton is situated at only a few steps from our hotel. Finally, for the more athletics, lot of activities on land or at sea can be practiced in Menton.

The check-out time is at 11:00 AM and check-in time is at 4:00 PM, at the latest. In the case your room is not set-up at your arrival, we will keep your luggage and do our best to put your room at your disposal as soon as possible.

We will be pleased to welcome your family in our 2 Suites. Connecting rooms are also available on request. Furthermore, we have the possibility to add a cot for free or an additional bed in a double room (with additional cost, according to our availability).

On the 7th floor, the well-being space is free of access for all our guests throughout the year. The large panoramic view stretching from Italy to Cap-Martin and the surrounding mountains, the terrace equipped with sun lounges, a heated jacuzzi and a small fitness room will complete the pleasures of your stay. On the ground floor, take a comfortable seat in the lounge, the bar, or on the terrace facing the sea to savour your buffet breakfast or enjoy a drink. The reception desk is open 24 hours a day and will advise you throughout your stay.

We offer our guests the choice between a “Continental” breakfast served in the room, or a “Buffet” breakfast, served at the ground floor, facing the sea, at the price of 15 Euro per person.

When you book directly on our official website, we guarantee you the access to all our room types and availabilities as well as the best available rates all the year round. Our rooms prices vary from 80 Euro (low season) to 210 Euro (high season).

For lovers, a special "Romantic stay" offer is available to enjoy an unforgettable moment for two by the sea. Furthermore, other offers and packages are available at certain period of the year. You also have the possibility to offer a gift voucher to please your loved ones.

At about 1 km from the historic centre of Menton and a 5-minutes’ walk from the casino, the Hotel Princess & Richmond stands facing the sea. A short walk along the promenade in the Baie du Soleil will offer you the opportunity to relax in the sun, do some shopping or enjoy the street entertainment at certain times of the year.

If needed for your car, we have an underground garage (maximum height 1,80 m) and an outside car park, both on reservation.

The train station of Menton is situated at around 800 meters of the hotel and can be reached with a 10-minutes’ walk. A taxi station is also available on the spot.

For your transfer from Nice Airport to the hotel, you will find a taxi station and a regular bus service whose the bus stop is at only 50 meters from the hotel. If you prefer, we can also order your transfer.

With pleasure, we accept pets in our hotel (with additional cost).
